About Us
Centre for Folklore Studies and Research (CFSR)
CFSR is a global community of scholars, educators, artists, and community members dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of folklore and its various manifestations across cultures and historical periods.
Our network promotes critical study of folklore while encouraging collaboration among scholars, educators, artists, and communities. We aim to deepen understanding of folklore’s role in cultural identity, social practices, and artistic expression, while supporting the preservation of folk traditions. Through research, teaching, and outreach, we advance knowledge, celebrate diversity, and promote inclusive representation of underrepresented voices.
